Ireland’s favourite wheelchair accessible vehicle

Available exclusively from OC Cars & Mobility Ltd, Peugeot Horizon mobility cars are the most popular wheelchair accessible vehicles on the Mobility Scheme. It’s easy to see why. Ideal for able-bodied and wheelchair passengers alike, Horizon offers fantastic space and optimum accessibility for your wheelchair or scooter.

Based on the popular Peugeot Partner Tepee, Horizon is ideal for those looking for a vehicle which is stylish, safe and offers optimum accessibility.

The exclusive lightweight EasyLift wheelchair ramp within Horizon has been cleverly designed with a low ramp gradient, providing optimum accessibility and making wheelchair entry and exit hassle free. The EasyLift ramp also requires minimal effort to operate and is mechanically assisted, so it does most of the work for you. As standard, safety is of optimum priority, so Horizon is fitted with a heavy-duty four-point wheelchair restraint system and three-point seat belts for all passengers. In addition to all this, Horizon comes with an electric winch as standard, which helps guide your wheelchair or powerchair up the ramp with ease.

Seating Options

Available in a choice of models, Horizon S comes complete with full original Peugeot seating whilst our SE model provides one or two single rear seats, depending on your needs.

Horizon’s economical 92 PS HDi diesel engine offers brilliant fuel efficiency which makes it one of the most cost effective wheelchair accessible vehicles available. Horizon boasts fast response and excellent road handling and the large windscreen and door mirrors give you superb all-round vision.

Our Peugeot Horizon mobility cars can accommodate driver, wheelchair passenger and up to three seated passengers or driver and up to four seated passengers, depending on your chosen seating layout. Customers can choose to travel in their wheelchair or, where preferable, can stow their wheelchair in the back after transferring to the front passenger seat for their journey. Other disabled people use these versatile disabled cars to transport their electric scooters.

Peugeot Horizon S

Our classic model Horizon S, unlike many other disabled cars, includes Peugeot’s original rear seating adding to the overall finish of the vehicle. Horizon includes a folding rear passenger seat, which holds three people, as standard. The 60:40 split seat allows you to retain one passenger seat in the back, beside the disabled passenger, whilst the other two rear seats are folded forward to accommodate the wheelchair or scooter.

Horizon S can accommodate driver, wheelchair passenger and up to two additional passengers.
