FUEL GRANT FOR DRIVERS AND PASSENGERS WITH DISABILITIES

If you are a disabled driver, disabled passenger, or have a family member with a disability, you can apply for a fuel grant.

You can apply for the grant if your vehicle is new, used or imported (not previously registered in Ireland).

HOW TO APPLY FOR FUEL GRANT ONLINE

Complete the application Form DD1/DDO online for Tax Relief in relation to vehicles purchased for use by people with disabilities.

This new online system will be accessed through myAccount on the Revenue website www.revenue.ie

To register, you will need your PPS number, mobile, e-mail address and home address. If you have difficulty registering for myAccount, please contact the myAccount Team on 1890 272 282 or email to [email protected].

The Fuel Grant will be paid directly into your Bank/Building Society/Credit Union account – it will be necessary for you to input your bank details (IBAN and BIC codes) into which you wish your Fuel Grant to be paid.

Fuel Grant online in 3 easy steps:

  1. Log in to myAccount and select ‘Drivers & Passengers with Disabilities’
  2. Select the ‘Claim Fuel Grant option’
  3. Your personal & vehicle details will be displayed on screen. Follow the prompts to complete your Claim Form. You will find your BIC
    and IBAN on the top right-hand side of your bank statement. When your claim has been processed, the Fuel Grant will be paid directly into
    your bank account.
